Mr. Leary brings over 45 years of real estate appraisal, counseling and consulting experience to Advisra.  He is a key member of Advisra’s senior leadership team and specializes in real estate counseling, real estate dispute resolution and litigation support, appraisal review services in any United States market, major and complex property appraisals in the northeastern United States, and commercial real estate mass appraisal services.

A graduate of Boston College, Mr. Leary is an MAI Member of the Appraisal Institute and a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE®). From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Leary was one of the five original members of the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) of the Appraisal Foundation, serving as Vice Chair in 1989 and Chair from 1990 to 1992. The ASB is responsible for the development and promulgation of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

Mr. Leary served as 2011 Chair of the Board of the Counselors of Real Estate. He currently serves as Chair of the Standards Setting Committee for the International Ethics Standards Coalition of over 100 worldwide property organizations.
